Mechanical Horse ~ Zeus
We are incredibly proud to introduce Zeus, the newest and most exciting addition to Venture RDA. Launched in April 2025 by our patron, Piggy March (Team GB 5* Event Rider), Zeus is already changing lives - and turning heads!
Zeus is a state-of-the-art mechanical horse, designed to replicate the movement and rhythm of a real horse. He allows our riders to experience the physical, emotional, and therapeutic benefits of riding in a safe, fully adjustable environment — regardless of weather, ability, or experience. From helping children build core strength and confidence to offering a new sensory experience for those with profound disabilities, Zeus has opened up new possibilities for so many of our participants.
Since his arrival, Zeus has become a firm favourite with our riders. We now run regular sessions using Zeus, and the response from our children and families has been overwhelmingly positive. His calming presence, flexible settings, and realistic motion make him a truly unique and invaluable part of our team.
More Than Just Therapy
While Zeus was introduced to enhance our RDA programme, his capabilities extend far beyond therapeutic use:

Dressage Training - Zeus can be programmed for advance movements such as collected trot, canter, lateral work and extended paces, making him ideal for dressage training and coaching sessions. We welcome enquiries from local dressage coaches or riding instructors who may wish to hire Zeus for private or group sessions.

Hippotherapy - Zeus also has valuable applications in physiotherapy. The smooth, rhythmic motion of the horse is ideal for Hippotherapists working with clients who need targeted postural, sensory or neurological support in a controlled, consistent setting.
